TrueNorth Health Center is an 81 patient room, in-patient facility specializing in medically supervised water-only fasting and the use of nutritional medicine to treat a variety of patients with conditions including hypertension, diabetes, autoimmune disorders, and lymphoma. We provide an exclusively whole plant food diet free of added salt, oil and sugar as well as dietary and recreational drugs.
We have been in operation for 40 years and have treated in excess of 25,000 patients with our water-only fasting protocol. Our 501c3 non-profit foundation conducts clinical research and is heavily involved in health education.
Our recent expansion has created the need for an additional hands-on clinical administrator, ideally, someone with a clinical background (RN, PA, NP, ND, DC, MD or DO) licensed or license eligible that is experienced and interested in clinical management. This is a full time, hands-on, patient facing position, with management support to our 60+ employees and 12+ clinicians.
The administrator would be involved in hiring, training, scheduling, supporting, and covering, as needed, the 60+ TNH employees including our clinical support team of MAs, nurses, chiropractors, naturopaths, interns and residents, as well as the employees that provide administrative support in scheduling, reception, concierge, billing, and housekeeping.
This is a full-time, all-encompassing position for an individual with high integrity, excellent problem-solving and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have a calm, service-oriented demeanor, who will lead by example. An established interest in living a health-promoting lifestyle and commitment to a whole plant food diet is desirable. You would be involved in solving patient and employee challenges and concerns. Flexibility with personal schedule is required by virtue of the 24/7 nature of the operation. (i.e. Some weekend and on-call responsibilities are necessary.)
Extensive training would be provided, as we would expect you to begin by learning each of the positions that you would be supporting and ultimately help us improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our operation. We provide a subsidized private bedroom in a shared house or apartment that is immediately adjacent to the facility. Utilities are included as are all meals which are prepared in our vegan, SOS-free kitchen. We will also provide a competitive salary.
