Ahmed Deen is a clinical administrator at TrueNorth Health Center.  His education includes a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), both from Dow Medical College, as well as a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of San Francisco with an emphasis in Health Services Administration (HSA). He is a Leadership Academy graduate and a former instructor at Santa Rosa Junior College.

Dr. Dean’s professional experience includes family and emergency medicine, research, and education and training.

Throughout his 10 years of commuting to teach courses at Santa Rosa Junior College, Dr. Dean drove by TrueNorth Health Center without knowing anything about it. When the pandemic arrived, he found that it gave him more free time to explore, as all classes and activities were online. That free time led to him discovering and ultimately working at TrueNorth Health Center, an experience he has found to be life-changing.

“I had always been intrigued by the benefits of fasting,” says Dr. Dean. “TrueNorth Health has led me to believe that there is another way than just treating patients with chemicals alone. For most patients, the healing seen with water-only fasting is amazing. I personally believe this treatment modality will only grow in the future.”
